Description

The Apple Two-Page Monochrome display was able to display two pages next to one another.  It was a 21” screen with a 19” viewable area.  The one-bit monochrome allowed for 256 gray shades to be displayed.  It had a 77 DPI and a resolution of 1152 x 870.

History

Designed specifically for use in the publishing industry, the Apple Two-Page Monochrome display.  The high scan rate and resolution were touted for reducing eyestrain.  It was priced at $2,149 at its release.
